Created for Forma Viva Sculpture Symposium, I was given a public plaza, access to a concrete company and a month to complete this sundial project.
Here, sunlight enters through the southern slit of this thin walled partial cylinder and exits through the appropriate hour port to tell the time on the plaza to the north. The tilt of the cylinder is equal to the angle of the latitude of the site. H.11 feet x W.23 feet x D. 15 feet
